Country 1: Sweden

School is finished and the summer has begun. On Friday I started driving to meet Micke in the south of Sweden. I drove for 12 hours and covered about 900km from Östersund to Eksjö. By the time arrived my body was starting to complain...

I spent the weekend in Eksjö. I have met his roommates and his colleges- a very humorous group of men!

Tuesday after lunch we start the next leg of the journey: we drive to Malmö. We are spending the night at a friend of Micke's, then spending Wednesday exploring the city. Wednesday night I meet his grandmother and we spend the night there...well part of it. Thursday morning means we catch the 3am ferry to Germany.

We arrive in Germany at the height of it's tourist season...the soccer world cup. Hopefully we are able to find a place to sleep....



The rest of the trip includes:
Czech Republic
Slovakia
Hungary
Croatia
Italy
Switzerland
and France.




Krista will be joining us in Paris for a few days. Micke then returns to Sweden and Krista and I will explore France and Spain for a couple of weeks before returning to our respective countries of residence.



It is going to be a blast
